the rc2x/rc3 is the best(but very expensive). it depends on opinion for deciding between the rcv/vf2 and the rv/vf, the rcv/vf2 has compression while the rv/vf dosen't but the rv has air preload while the rcv/vf2 does not(unless you get an 0. i think that preload is more important the compression so i would say the rv is better than the rcv

the 66rv has rebound adjust, same as a 66vf. a 66rc2x has high and low speed compression, preload and rebound adjust, same as the 66rc3. and the 66vf2 has compression and rebound adjust, same as the 66rcv. there are so many different models because they changed the names after certain years. the rv/vf and the vf2/rcv may have caps for air preload but it depends on the year. why do you ask???

they are excellent supper strong rims(come on the norco aline pe) and they run new spoked to a hub for between $140-$200 depending on the spokes an hub. Why?

thats so sweet! get them! will they fit your head though i know most manitous have 1.5" head tubes and they won't fit
